First the names of the two lead actors of this film, Akshay Kumar and Ritesh Deshmukh, were revealed. According to the report of Piping, now the director has decided to join the team of Welcome franchise with Housefull franchise. This means that now Welcome franchise team Akshay Kumar, Nana Patekar and Anil Kapoor will be seen with Riteish Deshmukh in Housefull 5. The pairing of Anil Kapoor and Nana Patekar was very much liked in Akshay Kumar’s film Welcome.
Anil Kapoor played the character of Majnu Bhai in this film. Nana Patekar was seen in the role of Uday Shetty. Earlier, Nana Patekar was also cast for Housefull 4. But then he got his name removed from the list due to Tanushree Dutta’s allegations against him. At that time Nana Patekar was replaced by actor Rana Daggubati.
